Early Years Foundation Stage framework
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets standards for the learning, development and care of children from birth to 5 years old. All early years providers must follow the EYFS.
Every Child MAtters
The overarching aim of the EYFS is to help young children achieve the Every Child Matters outcomes of staying safe, being healthy, enjoying and achieving, making a positive contribution and achieving economic well being. At Evergreen Forest Nursery all our staff are conscious of the need to recognize the fact that EVERY child does matter.
Forest Childcare
As a member of the Forest Childcare Association we practice the Five Principles of Forest Childcare and endeavor to put these principles into practice at our pre-school.
