Does your child love digging in the mud, getting their hands dirty and exploring different smells?
No matter what the weather, rain or shine our Forest School children will actively take part in learning about growth and decay. Our children will participate in planting seeds, helping to nurture them, watch them grow and the the fun bit, eat them!
Planting & Growing
At our nursery we believe that children can make a vital connection with nature through growing their own food. Some of the best ever Woodland Learning days have involved harvesting fruit and vegetables and cooking them over a fire in the wood. We aim to teach children about woodland Learning since this can help children to grow and care for a wide variety of vegetables throughout their time at nursery using our allotments to hessian bags and poly-tunnels! All the vegetables are grown organically and children are involved in every stage of the process.
